Reaching out to Junior High Students

 

Peers, families, communities, and media are throwing so much information at junior high school students.  You’re being told how to dress, how to act, what is popular, and what is important.  But, when so much of this information is contradictory, how do you figure out what the truth is?

If you’re interested in learning how to tell truth from hype, check out Powerhouse, our junior high group at Twin Oaks Church.  Have a great time with a crazy night of kids each Friday night from 7-9pm, when Powerhouse meets to eat pizza, share in cool worship, and just hang out.  It’s a safe environment to share life and to meet other kids your age, who may become lifelong friends.  There are prizes, x-Box challenges, skateboarding, basketball, and a café, just for you.

You are also welcome to an energetic Sunday morning Bible study, held at the church, from 10-11:30am!

You’re probably facing a lot of pressure, these days.  But isn’t it cool to know you won’t be facing it alone?
